Theme of the 12th Tainan Pink Dot:【Discover the Forest | 木漏れ日 (Komorebi)】The theme draws inspiration from sunlight filtering gently and evenly through tree leaves, warming every life equally. From different angles, one sees ever-changing colors — just as light dances through the forest, its hues shift moment by moment. The forest nurtures a vibrant ecosystem where diverse beings gather, forming dense yet varied interactions that strengthen the entire ecological chain.

April 20 is Gender Equality Education Day. The 12th edition of the 2026 “Tainan Pink Dot” series of events officially kicks off today.
Since its founding, Tainan Pink Dot has entered its 12th year. It is committed to promoting gender equality concepts in southern Taiwan, emphasizing the principles of “respecting gender diversity and building friendly spaces.” Through education and cultural actions, the event seeks to eliminate stigma and discrimination against gender-diverse communities and foster a more inclusive social atmosphere.
When society embraces all kinds of genders and different temperaments, we discover more colors blending together, sparking creativity and vibrant energy. Generations have marched for equality — it may not bloom immediately, but like humus accumulating from generational experience and nutrients, it gives all beings here the strength to continue growing toward the light.
