As the autumn air turned crisp, a cool evening breeze blew across Kuang-Fu Sports Field, yet the fiery atmosphere remained unabated. On the second day of the campus relay races celebrating NCKU’s 95th anniversary, roaring cheers and pounding footsteps filled the air with dynamic energy and youthful vitality.

A group of sharp-looking professors turned into track powerhouse runners, teaming up with students.
A group of sharp-looking professors transformed into track powerhouses, teaming up with students under the team name "No Fear, My Teammates Are Clear" (隊友很強不用怕)—becoming the most eye-catching spotlight on the track this year. Surrounded by strong competitors, the team members said confidently, "No fear, my teammates are clear!" This cross-departmental team of faculty and students featured Professor Ming-Hao Liu from the Department of Physics, Professor Yao-Hsien Tsai from the Department of Architecture, Professor Chia-Chi Tsai from the Department of Electrical Engineering, and Professor Chun-Han Wang from the Department of Industrial and Information Management. Professor Liu Ming-Hao, a recipient of the National Science and Technology Council’s "Ta-You Wu Memorial Award" for outstanding academic achievement, displayed impressive physical strength and athletic instinct on the track, standing as a true embodiment of excellence in both mind and body. Stepping off the podium onto the athletic track in running shoes, the professors sweat alongside their students, revealing a friendly, approachable side while exemplifying teamwork and a passion for sports.

The campus mixed relay is more than a sporting event; it is a platform that bridges faculty-student bonds and showcases diverse campus creativity.
A student livestream team was also spotted on-site conducting signal tests. They plan to broadcast the semifinals and finals live in both Chinese and English, hoping to draw broader attention to this cross-departmental sports celebration. The stream will allow alumni, friends, and parents who cannot attend in person to join in the joy online while boosting the international visibility and influence of NCKU’s athletic events.
In addition, student teams unleashing their boundless creativity served as a constant source of joy. Among them, the team with the cheeky name "Senior Said My Running Posture Isn't Right" (學長說我跑步姿勢不隊) captured many hearts with their cute and lively energy.

Team members declared their resolve to fight for a spot in the semifinals and showcase their skills on camera.
Student Huang Ling-Rong shared with a smile that their original motivation was simple: "Whether our running posture looks good doesn't matter at all—giving our best and having fun during the race is the most precious experience!" However, upon learning that the semifinals and finals would feature a live bilingual broadcast, the entire team was suddenly ignited with competitive spirit, bursting with unexpected motivation. Team members declared their resolve to push all-out for the semifinals, eager to show off their skills on camera and let the world witness their one-of-a-kind "Running Posture Show Online."
The campus relay is more than a sporting event; it is a platform that bridges faculty-student bonds and showcases diverse campus creativity. As the races move forward, the sportsmanship and youthful passion displayed by faculty and students will continue to warm the NCKU community.
