The Comprehensive E-learning Digital Teaching Materials for Measurement that NCKU received, including digital oscilloscope principles and accurate measurement techniques, embedded system and power measurement, high-speed signal analysis, radio frequency circuit measurement technique and communication system crosstalk analysis, are helpful to the development of digital materials and the integration of teaching resources.

The signing ceremony was held at 11 am, June 18th, in Seminar Room of College of Engineering, NCKU. In addition to Deputy Manager Tien-Shen Chang, Dean Wen-Teng Wu and Dean Yon-Hua Tzeng, managers from Tektronix and Prof. Chin E. Lin of Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, NCKU, have also attended.

Dean Wen-Teng Wu of College of Engineering, NCKU, expressed, “National Cheng Kung University is an excellent university. Even though in the university evaluation, NTU is ranked the 1st and NCKU the 2nd, the technology industry all realize that in the ranking of the engineering field, NCKU surpasses every national university. For example, NCKU is ranked the 17th in the world and the 1st in Taiwan in the ESI ranking in May, 2010. It is an excellent choice for Tektronix to donate the Comprehensive E-learning Digital Teaching Materials for Measurement to NCKU.”

Dean Yon-Hua Tzeng of College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, NCKU, said, “I’ve been using Tektronix equipments ever since I started studying. With Comprehensive E-learning Digital Teaching Materials for Measurement, we can improve the teaching efficiency and students can have an early understanding of this equipment. National Cheng Kung University is the train locomotive of Taiwan in the engineering field. I believe the signing ceremony today is an excellent opportunity to initiate more corporations between NCKU and Tektronix.”

Deputy Manager Tien-Sheng Chang for Marketing of Tektronix's Asia-Pacific Region, mentioned, “The purpose of the authorization is to provide digital materials and teaching resources and strengthen the use of teaching resources. With Internet communication, the Comprehensive E-learning Digital Teaching Materials for Measurement can allow self-study at any place and time.”
