NCKU Bike Festival and Faculty Exhibition on March 13th
Tainan, Taiwan, March 11th, 2010
NCKU Bike Festival and Faculty Exhibition will be held on March 13th, from 10 am to 5 pm, in Yun-Ping Building plaza, Kuang-Fu Campus. In addition to the usual booths and club performance, the exhibition of cycling life and the tour of cycling campus will also take place this Saturday (March 13th, 2010).
Through texts and pictures, the exhibition will reveal the campus characteristics and cycling stories of NCKU. On the day of the event, 20 bicycles will be provided for anyone with photo identification to rent and ride. Moreover, the senior students will take you to every corner of the campus for exploration. The first tour starts from 3 pm to 4 pm and the second tour starts from 4 pm to 5 pm at the front stage of Yun-Ping Building.
The 3rd NCKU Bike Festival and Faculty Exhibition is organized by Student Union and United Departments Association. The 9 colleges and 40 departments will set up booths to introduce their features, and the senior students will explain the course contents and future prospects. Thus high school students will learn the difference between various departments. This understanding will help them understand National Cheng Kung University and find their interests.
The club performance as students loved the most will begin from 11 am to 1 pm. The NCKU alumni will share their experience and engage in a conversation with the high school students from 1pm to 3:30 pm.
The NCKU Bike Festival and Faculty Exhibition hoped to illustrate the colorful life of college students and assist high school students in finding their aspirations. Future freshmen will find the information and consultation they needed in the exhibition. With the campus tour and seniors’ advice, students have a better chance in understanding the wide-ranging departments and the department features of National Cheng Kung University.
