To help high school students get the picture of college life and keep them meaningfully engaged during their winter holidays, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) organized a total of twenty winter camps to welcome more than 2,000 students during this winter break.
Most of the camps will start from January 20 or 21 and some will open in early February.
Each winter session includes lodging, reception, meals and activities.
The twenty camps featuring interdisciplinary studies include cross-field electromechanical system camp, business management camp, accounting camp, economic camp, global water governance camp, optoelectronics camp, environmental ecology camp, leadership camp, history camp, space camp, engineering science camp, civil engineering camp, and so on.
The business management camp took up the largest number of admissions with 140 enrollments in total.
The 5-day business management camp will include various courses like basic business management training, entrepreneurship, interpersonal analysis, case study, and business visit.
The students in the business management camp will learn about the world of business, financial planning, investment and entrepreneurship.
Among the 20 camps, one of the most highlighted is the global water governance camp in which students will involve in field visits, water conservancy courses, DIY and so on.
Participants will visit the water conservancy and marine engineering test site near Tainan and the water conservancy construction as well.
