NCKU students show creativity in HITech Bio-Design Workshop
Tainan, Taiwan, June 28, 2016
H.I.T.for Asia National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Branch held 2016 HITech Bio-Design Workshop in the morning on June 25 at Department of BioMedical Engineering, with several experts leading students to brainstorm the needs of medical care and the possible solutions for the existing problems for the elderly, showing their creativity and capability, leaving the audience great impression.
NCKU President Huey-Jen Jenny Su pointed out, “The cornerstone of technology requires not only people’s creativity and curiosity, but also the consideration for the entire human race. I hope we can work together to take care people in need.”
After the workshop, a competition was held at the forth auditorium at Department of Medicine.
There were 7 teams represented NCKU, 4 teams represented National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), 1 team represented National Taiwan University (NTU) and 1 team represented National Formosa University (NFU).
Students from NCKU not only prepared PowerPoint but presented their creations, giving participants deep impressions.
