MovIPrint exhibition opens at NCKU - Public.

A new techno art exhibition to allow people to create individual patterns through a new way of combining technology and design opened on June 18 at the C-Hub of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan.
Prof. Yen-Ting Cho from the Institute of Creative Industries Design (ICID) in NCKU led a group of students to organize the MovIPrint exhibition, giving visitors the chances to experience making personalized digital media design products.
In the exhibition, you just need to pick a design, upload your image/video and move your body to create a pattern which you can use to produce a personalized gift to share with friends or family, according to Cho.
'By using the unique MovISee software, MovIPrint enables you to combine coding and personal creativity,' he said.
Dr. Cho uses technology to rearrange time and space to make dynamic and static images.
At the opening reception, Cho said, 'Thanks everyone for coming to the MovIPrint exhibtion opening! We are so happy that we have successfully printed customized MovISee poster card right on site. The first postcard is designed from our visitor's collarbone!'
The exhibition compromises five zones: 1. Pattern; 2. Dance; 3. Bar; 4. Fold; and 5. Feel. You can pick a card design in the Pattern zone.
Then, in the Dance zone, you can move your body to create your individual gift. Next, you can print your postcard and send your gif video to friends in out Bar zone.
In the Fold zone, you will see objects, such as fashion accessories, that are created from your printed postcard.
