2016 Southern District Job Fair held at NCKU
Tainan, Taiwan, March 13, 2016
2016 Southern District Job Fair at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Chung Cheng Auditorium and Yun-Ping Building plaza, Kuang-Fu Campus offered a record high 15,457 job position attracting more than 20,000 job applicants on March 13th.
A total of 212 corporations spanning across semiconductor, photonic, electric motor, manufacture, material, national defense, culture and education, service and financial industry endeavored to seek prospective person.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company(TSMC), United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), Hon Hai Precision, and other renowned corporations had received 22,130 resume in total.
NCKU Secretary General of Secretariat Office Yung-Nane Yang said, “Southern District Job Fair is a best platform for corporations to find the right job candidates and for applicant to hunt a better job. We expected to host the grandest Job Fair in Taiwan for the best of companies and applicants.”
Prof. Yan-Kuin Su, the President of Kun Shan University, hailed the success of 2016 Southern District Job Fair. He also indicated the importance of attitude, reminding students to maintain a good working attitude.
This year, booths for consultation of state examination and studying in the United States of America were particularly set to offer one on one consulting services.
Besides, 110 booths provide information of English version for the convenience of international students. Students could scan the QRcode to get more details.
The Job Fair is jointly organized by National Cheng Kung University and the Tainan City Government, Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Region, Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training, Council of Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan.
