2016 ICID International Day to kick off with UK arts - Noodls
National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Institute of Creative Industries Design (ICID) will kick off its first international day event March 3 with a workshop/talk led by artists from England.
Kevin Ryan, the director of Charnwood Arts, UK, and a UK-based artist Ashokkumar Mistry will lead a workshop/talk on Thursday 3 March 2016, 14:00 - 17:00 at ICID Open Space.
The special event, 'Weaving our Dream: Creative Planning Process for Artistic Outcomes,' is more of a workshop, perhaps a kind of workshop talk,' said Ryan.
He added, 'We will create a learning and development presentation that will require the active participation of all who attend.'
'We will look at developing a project and product orientated approach from five original proposals that relate to the 85th anniversary of NCKU,' he said.
Ashokkumar Mistry has worked with Charnwood Arts on a number of different occasions and has exhibited and presented work widely across the UK.
His primary interests revolve around how we understand the world that exists beyond the one that we are most familiar with.
