International Conference of Culture and Creativity 2015 to kick off at NCKU tomorrow

The International Conference of Culture and Creativity 2015 (ICCC 2015) will take place at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan, from January 5 to 7.

An opening ceremony will be held at the C-Hub, NCKU, at 9:00 am, Tuesday, January 5.

Prof. Fong‐Gong Wu, Dean of College of Planning and Design at NCKU and Prof. Chi-Yue Chiu, Faculty of Social Science of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) are invited to give opening remarks on the morning of January 5.

ICCC 2015 is the 5th annual international conference started from 2010 organized by the Institute of Creative Industries Design (ICID), NCKU.

The CUHK scholars and 18 students leading by Mrs. Annisa Lai Lee, vice dean of Wu Yee Sun College, CUHK, and business people in Taiwan are invited by ICID to join the three-day conference.

They will discuss and explore issues centered on the memories and the innovations of city culture with perspectives both from Taiwan and Hong Kong.

The conference will explore three issues: 1) From memories of city to innovative city; 2) Experience and commercialization of cultural content by business model design; 3) Regional cultural conservation for the economic value development of cultural space.
