NCKU, AIDC partner to promote aerospace industry in Taiwan - noodls
In furtherance of its commitment towards enhancing aerospace industry in Taiwan, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan, has partnered the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) to build a research center to foster collaboration.
On December 14, NCKU President Huey-Jen Jenny Su and AIDC Chairman Anson Liao on behalf of both institutes will sign a cooperative agreement to open a joint research center for aerospace technology innovation.
More frequent and productive exchanges and collaboration will be initiated after signing the agreement, according to the university.
The partnership will also kick off AIDC scholarship, internship programs, and research projects for cultivating new talents and students who pursue a career in aerospace.
Established in 1983, NCKU Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics has made great contribution to aeronautics and astronautics education in Taiwan.
The Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC), founded in 1969, envisions the Asia-Pacific region will play an increasingly vital role in the international aerospace markets, and that Taiwan will establish itself as a valued partner for international aerospace companies.
