NCKU professor Tsorng-Juu Liang named IEEE Fellow

National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Department of Electrical Engineering Distinguished Professor Dr. Tsorng-Juu Liang has been named Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Fellow in 2015 in recognition of his research contributions in the field of power electronics, motor drive, power integrated circuit design, and industrial electronics, the university revealed today.
In total Dr. Liang has published 69 papers in SCI journals including IEEE and IET. Also, more than 170 papers were presented in national and international conferences.
According to Google Scholar, his publications have been cited over 3,500 up till 2010.
Dr. Liang holds a total of 32 domestic and foreign patents and among them 16 technologies had already been transferred.
