Acer Smart Classroom set up at NCKU-Noodls

Tainan, Taiwan, July 2, 2015 A new smart classroom set up at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan, which combined software and hardware, can assist teachers to develop interactive curriculum and application, revealed the university at an unveiling ceremony on July 1. The Acer Smart Classroom will help teachers build cloud-classroom teaching environment, according to NCKU President Huey-Jen Jenny Su who attended the ceremony and expressed her gratitude to Acer Inc. and Wistron Corporation for their assistance. She said, the smart classroom is the collaborative efforts among NCKU Department of Electric Engineering, Acer Inc., and Wistron Corporation. This smart classroom will help teachers to utilize teaching resources, enrich teaching content and strengthen students' interest in learning, accelerate the cultivation of a new era of talent, according to Su. The Acer Smart Classroom located on the third floor of the Department of Electric Engineering is a technology enhanced classroom that foster opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology, such as computers, specialized software, audience response technology, assistive listening devices, networking, and audio and visual capabilities.
