NCKU Art Center set to open exhibition feature Chinese painting - Noodls

Professor Johann C. C. Chang, the former director of Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan, has been creating Chinese traditional paintings in the past 40 years. His solo exhibition will be on display at NCKU Art Center June 23 through July 30.
The exhibition will showcase more than 50 works from Professor Chang, including landscapes, birds and flowers.
An opening reception will be held at 10:00 a.m., June 27 at NCKU Art Center.
Many distinguished guests from the university community will attend the opening to celebrate Chang’s art creation.
Cheng who is 70 years old has engaged into Chinese traditional painting for nearly 40 years. As a devoted teacher of Chinese traditional painting, He taught students and faculty members in NCKU how to paint with brush and ink during the past few years.
Also, he had opened a course for international students in NCKU Chinese Language Center where the students have their very first experience to hold a brush with ink to learn the techniques of Chinese painting.
