2015 Jade Mountain Forum on Sustainable Environment and Environmental Nano-Technology Conference to kick off at NCKU April 27

2015 Jade Mountain Forum on Sustainable Environment and Environmental Nano-Technology Conference will be held from 27-28 April in the International Conference Hall, Kuang Fu campus, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan.
Topics of the conference include precious metal recovery technology, soil pollution remediation technology, green innovation and environmental technologies and carbon reduction strategies and "nanotechnology-related research. Groundwater and soil survey equipments will be exhibited as well.
Prof. Paul Westerhoff from Arizona State University, USA, will give a talk on Environmentally Sustainable Use of Nanotechnology on April 27.
Also, Prof. Junji Shibata from Kansai University, Japan, will talk about recycling process development of lithium ion batteries in the first plenary lecture.
In Plenary Lecture 2, Prof. Ruey-an Doong will talk about treatment of environmental micropollutants using multifunctional nanocomposites.
More than 200 experts and scholars in the related areas coming from America, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan will participate in the two-day conference, according the university.
