US pianist Stephen Kovacevich to perform at NCKU - Noodls
Stephen Kovacevich, a renowned American classical pianist, will perform a solo recital on March 28 at Cheng Kung Hall, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan.
His opening work is Beethoven's Piano Sonata No.30 In E, Op.109 followed by Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 31 in A-flat Major, Op. 110 and Schubert's Piano Sonata No. 21 in B-flat Major, D. 960.
Stephen Kovacevich is one of the most revered musicians of his generation. He has won unsurpassed admiration for his interpretation of Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart and Schubert.
Born in Los Angeles, Stephen Kovacevich made his concert debut as a pianist at the age of eleven. When he was eighteen he moved to England to study with Dame Myra Hess. Since then his international reputation has been built both on his concert appearances and highly acclaimed recordings.
