NCKU celebrates Chinese New Year with spring gala - Noodls
National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) hosts its annual spring gala to celebrate the coming of Chinese New Year of Sheep with hundreds of people including faculty, staff, and friends in the community on February 13.
There is also a heartfelt reunion as many retired faculty and staff attend the celebratory event meeting their friends and wishing each other a prosperous year.
The Spring Gala has been an annual event anticipated by the members in the university and community supporters each year, according to NCKU President Huey-Jen Jenny Su who gave her congratulatory remark and extended warm welcome to the retired members of the university.
I appreciate very much the efforts of all the faculty and staff at NCKU, President Su said.
NCKU spring gala is always the highlight of the year for the faculty and staff. The events includes martial arts performance, dance show, magic show, followed by surprise lucky draw session with prizes including 50-inch smart TV, tablet pc, digital cameras and more.
