NCKU Observatory opens for total lunar eclipse - Noodls
The second total lunar eclipse this year will appear on October 8. The eclipse will be visible from across Taiwan.
People in Tainan will experience the event after the moonrise at around 5:34. The whole eclipse from start to finish will be visible for about 60 minutes.
The Department of Physics at NCKU will open its Observatory from 6:00pm to 8:40pm, October 8.
On October 8 NCKU will set up signposts in Cheng-Kung Campus near University Road to direct people to the Observatory at Department of Physics. People interested in viewing this rare astronomical phenomena please feel free to come.
