NCKU orchestra to kick off its annual charity concert tour - Noodls
The Tainan-based National Cheng Kung University Orchestra (NCKUORCH) will hold its annual charity concert tour at NCKU Cheng Kung Hall in Tainan, KHS Hall in New Taipei City, and Chung Hsing Hall in Taichung on August 22, 25 and 27, respectively.
"Le Mouvement du Ménestrel" is the theme of the concert, according to NCKUORCH, which means immersing in the music like a bard.
NCKUORCH will take its audiences on a journey through history, exploring the cultures of many different counties.
NCKU student Wan Ting Ho who is also the leader of the orchestra said, the concert themed as "Le Mouvement du Ménestrel" intends to introduce different music types to the audiences through varied repertoire and, furthermore, share the joy of music to everyone.
Additionally, the members of NCKUORCH will also head for Maria Wufen Caring Home in Taichung, and perform music and plays for the children there.
At the concerts, NCKUORCH will initiate electronic invoicing for charity to encourage the audiences to donate electronic invoices to Maria Social Welfare Foundation, an organization providing disabled people with daytime physical therapy, educational services and benefits.
