【Postponement】Open Call for Candidates for the Presidential Search of the 18th National Cheng Kung University President

In view of the fact that the presidential term of Dr. Huey-Jen Jenny Su will be completed on January 31st, 2023 and the new president of National Cheng Kung University will take office on February 1st, 2023, the University Council members have cast their ballots and elected 18 Presidential Election Committee members, according to the National Cheng Kung University Regulations Governing Presidential Election, along with three representatives appointed by the Ministry of Education, the Presidential Election Committee of 21 people has been established. The first Presidential Election Committee meeting has been held on April 24th, 2022 and Mei-Ling Chen has been elected as the coordinator of the Presidential Election Committee and Ching-Chang Lee as the spokesman of the Presidential Election Committee. An open call for candidates for the Presidential Search of the 18th National Cheng Kung University President is made public today. Bids and nominations will be taken on or before June 20th, 2022 at 5:00PM.
Please go to the 18th NCKU Presidential Election Website (https://preselection.ncku.edu.tw), click on “Search Notice”, download required recommendation forms and documents and filling them out before submitting them to the Presidential Election Committee.
The 2022 National Cheng Kung University Presidential Election Committee is composed of 21 members, including three representatives appointed by MOE, Der-Tsai Lee, Shiow-Fon Tsay, and Mon-Chi Lio. The other 18 Committee members recommended by the University Council have been elected by the University Council Assembly after the March 23rd meeting. Their names are hereby listed according to the number of strokes of their surnames:
9 Committee members from the University: Ju-Ming Wang, Tsair-Fuh Lin, Mu-Hsuan Kao, Meng-Li Chen, Jen-Sue Chen, Yun-Tsai Chen, Wei-Chou Hsu, Yeu-Shiang Huang, Ya-Min Cheng; 4 Committee members from the alumni: Yao-Chung Chiang, Po-Chang Lee, Miin Wu, Yunfan Yin; and 5 Committee members from the upright members of society: Woei-Shyan Lee, Louis Lee, Liang-Gee Chen, Mei-Ling Chen, Chu-Fang Lo.
