Vietnamese Culture Week 2024 program from April 13 to 20, 2024
According to the plan, the Vietnamese Students' Association at National Cheng Kung University (VSA-NCKU) has launched the Vietnamese Culture Week 2024 program starting from March 23, 2024. This annual event organized by the Vietnamese Students' Association aims to introduce and promote the image of Vietnam to friends in Taiwan and internationally, thereby enhancing mutual understanding and promoting Vietnam's integration with the world.
Leveraging on Interdisciplinary Collaboration, NCKU held International Forum and Workshop on Happiness Education to Advocate Mental Health
NCKU aspires to create a happy campus environment, aiming to leverage the power of knowledge to promote the well-beings of the Taiwanese communities, and to foster happy and healthy urban environment. On March 12th and 13th, the International Forum and Workshop on Happiness Education was held, inviting scholars, experts, and officials from home and abroad, including Dr. Lobsang Tenzin Negi, Executive Director of the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics (CCSCBE) at Emory University, and Assistant Director of the SEE Learning program, Mr. Tsondue Samphel, to discuss the science of happiness, promote the science of compassion, and hope to, taking the NCKU as point of departure, foster positive environment for individuals and communities to thrive, allowing the mind to "come alive" and creating a more harmonious society.
Delegation Led by Eswatini PM Dlamini Visits NCKU for Exchange on Disaster Prevention Education and Disaster Management System
The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini, His Excellency Russell Dlamini, accompanied by his spouse, Madame Philile Dlamini, undertook an official visit to Taiwan at the invitation of the government. Their visit, spanning from March 18th to 22nd, included a significant stop at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) on the concluding day of their itinerary. The NCKU representatives included Executive Vice President Chen Hong-Chen, Vice President for International Affairs Sun-Yuan Hsieh, Director General of Innovation Headquarters Liang-Ming Whang, Associate Vice President for Research & Development Shun-Fen Tzeng, Director of Disaster Prevention Research Center Hsiao-Wen Wang, and Deputy Directors of the center, Yun-Chung Tsang and Sin-Ping Lee, along with Chia-Hsiang Lin, the Director of International Relations Division, Office of International Affairs. The meeting focused on disaster prevention education and disaster management systems.

Beyond capturing memorable photos with the red ball, visitors are invited to delve deeper by exploring the RedBall Exhibition housed on the 2nd floor of the Future Venue.
